Mission and Vision

Our Mission: To develop and produce high-functional, inspirational performance wear with minimum impact on the planet by scrutinizing each part of the value chain and staying on top of what’s best for the environment and the runner.

Our Vision: A global fashion system that is miles greener than that of today. WE RUN acts for pushing change in the way humans produce and consume clothing, now. We want to bring transparency, honesty and understanding to consumers because making sustainable purchase decisions is rarely an easy task! We are all part of the fashion system – whether we’re into fashion or not – and turning bad impact into good is all about a joint effort. Let’s work together and let’s feel good about we do and what we wear!

The Team

We are runners, surfers, cyclists, designers, journalists, entrepreneurs and adventurers and we all share our passion for sustainable development, innovation and the performing experience.

The Founder

WE RUN was founded in Varberg, Sweden, in 2020 by Swedish runner Cecilia Jeverstam who has a BBA Degree in Marketing and Fashion Merchandising from Baylor University, USA, and a recent Master’s Degree in Textile Value Chain Management from the Swedish School of Textiles. Cecilia has a broad background within the fashion industry, having worked a decade with global fashion trends in Sweden and in Paris.

On the athletic side, Cecilia has essentially run all of her life and ran her first cross country race at the age of eight. She has competed in distances ranging from the 1500m to marathon. Cecilia ran at a national level for Baylor University track and cross country teams (US), Mölndals AIK (Sweden) as well as for Nice Côte d’Azur Athétisme (France). At present, she can’t stop discovering the different disciplines of running.
